Does Amazon build those 1st-Party product themselves? I don't think so but how does it work then? Do they buy the products, change em a little bit and sell them?

In these transactions, Amazon takes on the inventory as the merchant of record. The value add for the first party manufacturers is that they don’t have to deal with marketing, product listings, etc.
